María: One of our Spanish teachers

María, from Spain

Hello! My name is María, I am from Palma de Mallorca (an island in the east of Spain). I studied Journalism in Barcelona and since I finished my studies in 2014 I have been working in the communication field around Europe. I’m also a qualified Spanish teacher that can help you prepare your DELE examinations. I speak Catalan, English, Italian and German and now I am trying to learn Chinese. I love teaching my language to others and I have experience with both Asian and European students.

As a teacher, I am very open-minded, patient and multicultural, because Spanish is related to lots of cultures, words and different accents and I like them all. I love reading, talking and dancing, especially tango. I hope to see you soon in one of my lessons!

Mónica, from Argentina

Mónica is an Argentine Spanish and English teacher with more than 15 years’ experience, working both at companies and teaching private lessons. She studied at Ortega & Gasset’s institute, which is a very reputable school for Spanish teachers. One of the things she really enjoys is giving fun lessons and engaging students with interesting topics. She loves languages, learning about different cultures, travelling and dancing tango. She has been dancing tango for six years now in Buenos Aires and she is specialized in teaching Tango Spanish to help foreign students understand this beautiful Argentine dance.

Marcela: One of our Argentine teachers

Marcela, from Argentina

Marcela has been working as a Spanish and English teacher for over 20 years. She began her teaching career as a professor in the University of Buenos Aires before switching to work as an independent teacher. Apart from offering general Spanish and English classes, she specializes in teaching Spanish for tango dancers. She has taught renowned dancers and champions in international tango contexts. Being a milonguera (tango dancer) herself and frequent to milongas (venue for tango dancing) in Buenos Aires, she is an ideal person for offering insights of the unique Argentine tango culture.

Micaella, from Armicaella teachersgentina

Micaella was born in Uruguay (next to Argentina) and is currently living in Argentina.

She has been working as a Spanish and English teacher for ten years now, both online and in language institutes and local schools. She speaks fluent English and Portuguese and has taught students from all over the world. This has given her plenty of experience working online and helping people from different origins to get started with Spanish.
